Hampton is home to the Virginia Air and Space Center and its NASA Langley exhibits. The center is situated on Hampton's historic waterfront next to Carousel Park, where a beautiful antique carousel is available to ride and enjoy. Hampton is also home to Fort Monroe, the largest stone fort built in the United States. 
Newport News, known as "the place that launched a thousand ships", is Virginia's fourth largest city and is home of the world's largest ship builder. Some of the city's museums are The Mariners' Museum, The Newsome House and The Virginia Living Museum. The city is filled with military, maritime and African American history. 
Norfolk is surrounded by the historic waters that have been it's lifeblood for more than 300 years, and offers 7.5 miles of golden beaches, fresh seafood and many attractions including museums, historic homes, beautiful gardens, harbor cruises and international festivals. Norfolk is also home to the Norfolk Naval Base, the largest naval base in the world. 
Virginia Beach, with more than 28 miles of public beach, was named "the largest pleasure beach" by the Guinness Book of World Records. Visitors can see the Cape Henry Lighthouse, the Life Saving Museum, and the Virginia Marine Science Museum with it's IMAX Theater.

This is a wonderful time of year to visit the Virginia Waterfront. The temperatures are still quite mild and we have two different light displays to get you in the holiday spirit. The Virginia Beach "Holiday Lights at the Beach", with a nautical theme, has you driving along the Boardwalk in your motorcoach. The Norfolk Botanical Garden's "Garden In Lights" has a whimsical flower theme with displays featuring: Wisteria Arbor arches, animated humming birds, a windmill, scarecrow, leaping frogs, butterflies, mushrooms and a waterfall. All of this along with great entertainment will surely get your Holiday Season off to a good start.
The Play is a 2-Act production features colorful, first century period costumes, special effects, authentic sets and live animals. In addition, professional ballet and folk style choreography as well as classical, contemporary and Hebrew style music are incorporated throughout The Play. You will not want to miss this spectacular production offered during the Easter Season.
